Full-Time Tourism Software Support Agent /Trainer (Digital Tools)

At Counterpoint, we help local hotels and tour operators succeed through user-friendly technology solutions. We’re proud to support businesses across Fiji with tools that make their day-to-day operations smoother and more profitable. Based in our Nadi headquarters, this is a full-time, in-office role, but you can expect a mix of office time and time at client sites throughout Fiji.
The Role We’re looking for an enthusiastic people person to join our team as a Training Specialist. If you enjoy explaining things clearly and helping others succeed, this could be perfect for you! Don’t worry about knowing our software already – we’ll provide comprehensive training to get you up to speed.
What We’re Looking For
- A natural communicator who enjoys presenting to groups (fluency in English required, iTaukei language skills are a plus!)
- Experience in customer-facing roles, such as sales, hospitality, or training
- Familiarity with online bookings – whether you’ve handled resort bookings through platforms like Booking.com, Expedia, or even managed Airbnb bookings
- Comfort with everyday technology – if you’re confident using smartphones, social media, and basic computer programs, you’re on the right track!
- A friendly and patient approach to helping others learn
- Someone who can explain things clearly and make complex ideas simple
Your Experience Might Include
- Working at a hotel front desk where you used systems like Opera, Fidelio, or similar booking software
- Managing restaurant bookings through platforms like OpenTable
- Handling online inquiries and bookings through email or messaging platforms
- Using common workplace tools like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Experience with social media management for a business
- Any role where you helped less tech-savvy colleagues learn new systems
Remember: You don’t need to be a tech expert! If you’ve used booking systems at work, helped manage an Airbnb, or are simply comfortable learning new apps and websites, you likely have relevant experience for this role.
