The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion of Telecom Fiji. This role will oversee sales, marketing, business development, customer experience, and product monetization, ensuring the company’s offerings align with market demands and competitive positioning. The CCO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s commercial vision, optimizing revenue streams, and enhancing customer acquisition and retention strategies
Requirements
Key Accountabilities:
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth:
Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.
Identify new business opportunities, including B2B, B2C, and wholesale segments.
Drive pricing strategies, bundling, and promotional campaigns to enhance ARPU (Average Revenue per User) and reduce churn.
Sales & Business Development:
Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets across consumer, enterprise, and wholesale segments.
Foster strategic partnerships with vendors, technology providers, and ecosystem players.
Explore new revenue streams, including digital services, IoT, cloud solutions, and 5G monetization.
Marketing & Brand Positioning:
Oversee marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning and customer engagement.
Leverage data-driven insights to optimize customer acquisition and retention.
Ensure effective go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
Customer Experience & Retention:
Enhance customer lifecycle management through superior service offerings and loyalty programs.
Monitor customer satisfaction metrics (NPS, CSAT) and implement improvements.
Work closely with product and operations teams to align offerings with customer needs.
Market & Competitive Intelligence:
Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies to adapt commercial approaches.
Drive innovation in product and service offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Leadership & Team Development:
Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team (Sales, Marketing, and Business Development).
Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Technology, Operations) to align commercial goals.
Action metrics (NPS, CSAT) and implement improvements.
Work closely with product and operations teams to align offerings with customer needs.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
10+ years in a commercial leadership role within the telecom/technology sector.
Proven track record in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and digital transformation.
Strong understanding of telecom and ICT products (broadband, enterprise solutions, high-speed internet, cloud solutions)
Experience in B2B and B2C sales, partnerships, and customer lifecycle management.
Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision making and KPIs (ARPU, Churn, etc.)
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
