Full-Time Business Analyst Governance & Risk

Job Description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct support and assistance to CGRO
- Conduct credit portfolio analysis and monitor risk exposures.
- Support the development and review of credit risk models and rating systems.
- Assist in preparing credit risk reports and recommendations for credit committees.
- Compiling and preparation of management information and reports including Board reports.
- Provide monthly analysis and commentary of business reports for Asset Management Department (AMD), Credit Approval, Legal & Governance & Enterprise Risk Management in consultation with the relevant Team Heads.
- Undertakes financial analysis.
- Undertakes system evaluation, analysis and design for the BMS/CBS improvement.
- Facilitates and conducts BMS/CBS training
- Manages the issuance of discretionary authorities and letters, updating of CAD and compiling of discretion reports for management.
- Provides secretarial support for meetings and committees attended by CGRO.
- Prepares budget submission for CGRO office and co-ordinates the submission from other units of the Risk.
- Liaises with all units of the Risk for the completion and timely submission of budgets, issuing discretionary delegations and authorities, board paper reports and management information reports for the CGRO.
- Organizes and co-ordinates BMS/CBS Improvement and IT training with MIS/IT and Training Department.
- Travelling to other bank branches during working hours is required.
- No formal supervisory requirement but may assist new and other employees to teach tasks in own areas of expertise, without direct supervisory control.
- Facilitates tasks and ensures completion of tasks without direct supervisory control.
- Responsible for providing fast and efficient support services to the CGRO in the management of the Risk.
- Identifies and analyses options according to defined practices and select the best course of action.
- Responsible for the accuracy of own work as well as checking the accuracy of others work and results.
- Assist others in maintaining correct application of processes and procedures.
- Decision requires CGRO approval.
- Must be able to communicate the findings and results of analysis to CGRO or other staff.
- Must be able to influence others and obtain their co-operation, give feedback and communicate multi-faceted concepts.
- Identifies new ideas for enhancing the BMS for its users.
- Contributes to enhancement of existing Risk.
- Any other business related duties assigned by the CGRO.
Qualification Degree in Business Studies, Finance and Banking, Accounting and/or its equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
Experience At least 3 years experience in a similar role with sound experience and knowledge of FDB’s operational, financial and IT systems. Also proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access and Word.
