We are also committed to our vision – to help Papua New Guineans to succeed, and you will help us realize that by working closely with the Operations team to help in managing the Corporate Service functions for Westpac PNG’s business.

As the Manger, Corporate Services, you are responsible in overseeing the mail room, stationery management, cleaning supplies, records management, and managing bank communication services and supplies, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, adherence to policies, and maintaining an efficient and effective work environment.

What are my key areas of focus?

The incumbent will report to the Head of Operations and the main responsibilities will be:

  • Support fleet, procurement, property, and security needs. Manage contractor access, water orders, maintenance requests, fuel supply, and monthly workplace checklists.
  •  Supervise service staff including cleaners and mail drivers. Oversee mail dispatch, stationery distribution, and stock management.
  • Liaise with security providers for alarm and vehicle monitoring. Arrange vehicle services, repairs, registrations, and ensure compliance with traffic safety requirements.
  • Manage purchase orders (PO), vendor Statements of Account, and assist Accounts Payable with invoice confirmations.
  • Handle allocation and replacement of handsets, SIM cards, data plans, and Wi-Fi devices. Maintain accurate registers and ensure policy compliance.
  • Organise document storage, transport to/from archival facilities, and manage records for secure destruction.
  • Coordinate business-related transport requests in line with procedures.
  • Promote a strong risk culture by identifying and escalating issues. Support policy enforcement and emergency response coordination.
  • Lead a small team, ensure daily task completion, and resolve conflicts as needed. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

What do I need?

You will be degree qualified, you must have 5 years of work experience in corporate services or office administration. You will have demonstrated excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and manage a team. You will manage and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
