Full-Time Cyber Security Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our security posture and help safeguard our digital assets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a sharp analytical mindset, and is committed to protecting data and systems from evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies, standards, and controls.
- Perform regular security audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks.
- Investigate suspicious activities, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security is embedded in all processes.
Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with incident response, log analysis, and threat intelligence.
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to articulate risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- 2–4 years in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP (or working towards one).
