We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our management team, in INZ’s largest visa processing centre here in Fiji. We are looking for an experienced operational leader who will have demonstrable people leader skills, goal orientated and is able to ‘think on your feet’ in order to add value.

Implementing work programmes, performance goals, and new initiatives for their team, along with assisting measuring, monitoring, and reporting procedures, may be part of your day.

Skills And Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you have experience in, or have the qualities that would enable you to successfully perform, the following tasks:

  • Implementing quality processes designed to streamline and improve productivity whilst being a service champion.
  • Effective coaching and performance management of individuals or teams resulting in personal growth and achievement of organisational goals.

  • Solving complex problems and being able to make sound decisions in a changing environment.
  • The ability to manage workflow ensuring the continuation of BAU during periods of ambiguity and significant change is essential. Mental agility to multi-task, dealing with adhoc requests through to completion within tight timeframes, while maintaining a positive outlook.
  • The ability to lead effectively through change and drive high performance under challenging circumstances.

The role of Immigration Manager sits within the Visa Operations team, VISA OPERATIONS is the main processing and operational arm of Immigration New Zealand.
