Full-Time Imports Coordinator

Job Description
Neptune Pacific Direct Line (NPDL) operates market leading brands in shipping and logistics services across 18 Pacific Island markets. NPDL is the largest carrier in its core Pacific Island markets operating eight container ships and servicing 18 Pacific Island nations.
The position of Imports Coordinator is responsible for being the face of the Neptune Group, continuing to improve and enhance the customer experience. This position will interact with all functions of the Neptune Group to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of Import services.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare documentation including arrival notice, delivery orders, invoices
- Partner with Container Control to produce Inward cargo report Ascuyda to be lodged with Ports, Customs and MPI
- Lodge vessels manifest in Ascuyda system 48 hours prior to vessels arrival
- Check and Release cargo to final consignee after confirmation of payment
- Release Customs Delivery Docket to final consignee
- Coordinate Interisland transhipments from Pacific Islands, Australia and Asia
- Raise Purchase Orders in Oracle
- Handle general enquires from customers
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years shipping / freight experience in similar position
- Team player with positive, customer-centric attitude
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated adaptability to work to changing deadlines
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- CargoWise Super User
- Proficient training experience in CargoWise
- Effective Time management and planning skills
